ZONE Wallet is a legally compliant crypto exchange APP based in Taiwan. We're committed to lowering the entry barrier, providing a secure and beginner-friendly “Comfort ZONE” for users exploring the world of blockchain. In our first product phase, beyond offering basic trading functions, we aimed to introduce familiar financial tools—such as Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)—to help onboard traditional finance users with minimal friction. From a business perspective, it also encourages users to maintain ongoing trading activity within the platform in order to increase AUM.

Users who used or held a DCA plan had a daily active rate over 1100% higher than regular users.
Blockchain can feel unfamiliar and overly technical, especially for beginners. Its complexity and lack of transparency often discourage users from getting started. To reduce the learning curve and make the experience more intuitive, we designed the DCA feature to resemble traditional financial products. In addition to studying other exchanges, we looked at services like Richart and SinoPac DaWho to inform our design. Based on our research and understanding of ZONE Wallet’s target users, we positioned the product as a simple, approachable investment tool with a finance-like interface.
As a beginner-friendly exchange, we introduced an onboarding section to explain what DCA is, helping new users understand the concept quickly. Whether users want to start with a one-click recommended plan or customize their own amount and frequency, they can begin investing with ease.
ZONE Wallet Smart DCA launched on November 17, 2023.
Data showed that most users were able to complete their DCA setup in under one minute, indicating a significant reduction in the entry barrier. In terms of user engagement, those who participated in the DCA program demonstrated much higher activity levels compared to regular users. Daily active users were 12 times higher, weekly active users were 4.5 times higher, and monthly active users were 2.7 times higher. These results highlight that DCA not only promotes ongoing trading behavior but also plays a critical role in boosting overall retention and user stickiness, making it a key feature in driving user engagement on ZONE Wallet.
